Wonderful view of sunset. Beautiful beach and family pool. Not many options for food. Not shuttle to aeroport.

The staff was not friendly. I believe management needs to better trained them on customer service, and customers needs. I did had great experience with Fred at the lounge bar. He was exceptionally friendly, smile, try to accommodate our needs, and serve us with excellent skills. Also at the main restaurant near the pool during dinner great experience with Heavenly she is from Filipinas wonderful young lady which was so kind and sweet with my daughter. I truly appreciate their services. However, besides them the rest of staff was so so ..,,

Good beach.

Loved the location and staff at the pool bar. Great clean beach.

The room was not cleaned properly (sand in the bed, stains in the sheets). Front desk staff didn't know much about basic things like opening times of restaurants etc while checking in and handed us a QR code that didn't work. Food was average and expensive.

A fantastic destination for a dream vacation

The staff was so friendly! The facility is gorgeous and having a private beach and the option of an adult only pool were important differentiators. Great food, too.

Great property but staff needs more training

Property is beautiful and spacious. We had room with sea view, which was great. Firmness of the bed and pillows were comfortable, wifi was reliable too. Hotel is conveniently located near capital city, just a short drive to restaurants, bars or grocery store. I enjoyed snorkeling and witnessing brain coral gardens in the hotel bay. I would recommend the hotel to establish “reef friendly” sunscreens policy to protect the precious marine life.

When we arrived to our room, the bed sheets were dirty and covered in pe* stain :( I took video and went down to reception as my call wasn’t answered. I was told that housekeeping will change it “right away”, but after 2 hours, nobody showed up, and as we truly needed to rest after strenuous international flight, we gave up and placed don’t disturb” sign instead . Also, the fire alarm/evacuate siren went off twice during one night and all of us, accommodated in the east wing gathered at the reception, all confused. ( 1:00 am and 3:30 am). I understand these things can happen but what did upset me was staff lacking communication and training in providing us proper instructions. I felt like the night shift receptionist and security guard weren’t ready for this type of situations and didn’t handle communication with us professionally. I was carefully researching top resorts in Curacao for our vacation, so I really wanted to love my experience here, but sadly, I feel staff needs bit more advanced training on how to react in various stressed situations.

Carefree sunny tropical escape

The quality of the food and drinks, pretty decor,staff is absolutely great -everywhere you go!, pool service, loved the lap pool, being able to drink in the pool, amazing shower, great service all round, wonderful live music, nice sea view, sleeping with the sound of the waves.

Bed could be a big more comfy, but is not bad. One time beach towels did not come in till 1 pm. Only if someone complaints does the staff enforce the 18+ at the adult pool (happened once). It’s still fairly quiet though.

Great beach resort with friendly staff

We enjoyed a lot our stay at Marriott and would definitely recommend it. Hotel has recently been renovated. We loved the beach at the hotel. The staff is very friendly. We had a late evening flight and the staff arranged for us a room where we could take a shower in the afternoon without any additional cost. Great service!

Breakfast is very expensive. Therefore, we didn’t book it. There is a coffee bar at the hotel to order a small breakfast and there are some restaurants at Pirate Bay where you can take breakfast (10 min walk). Beach beds were a bit all over the place and could be of higher quality. Mini bar was not filled.

Property was very fresh and new and nice, service is subpar at this time.

I requested hypoallergenic bedding in advance, didn’t receive it until the second night, Room food service did not pick up phone. But the hotel manager was very kind and Sought to remedy the situation.

Modern, clean hotel. Food and drinks were excellent. Staff here are fantastic, best service in Caribbean. Beach is lovely and choice of swimming pools are great. The free exercise classes are also great.

the marriott beach resort was our second hotel on our Curacao vacation. we chose the marriott because of positive reviews. But we have to hold on to it, it's even better - it's really excellent. Everything was perfect- the Reception, the rooms, the beach, the pool, due to various restaurants, .. We particularly liked the Salty Iguana Beach Restaurant / Bar. A coctail by the pool - just special. Yes, there was something to note here and there - but these are little things that have no focus. A special feature is the pool when it is dark - just nice. Well done Marriott

The View ocean and private beach, the five restaurants, I like specially the new's year party was wonferful!. The staff personal and cathering personal very nivel!.

The personal is very nice, the food is amazing wonferful ocean view and beach. I would like come back there. I only suggest in the breakfast services (because some times the line is long), that the tables are cleaned completelly, as soon the guest end the breakfast.

Staff at the front desk was very pleasant,the food at salty iguana was great,the pools and beaches was amazing and clean

It was very noisy at nights,I heard rolling noises in the corridor at night,i believe it was house keeping cleaning,I stayed 5 nights,the bed room was never cleaned and the bed sheets was never changed(house keeping visited everyday).one night around 10:30pm I was awoken by banging on my door when I opened it was house keeping asking if I called(which I did not it was the room above my room who had called)

My stay would have been okay if you hadn’t stolen from me.

Location is great, close to the airport and downtown area. Beach and pools were fantastic including the fitness center.

Well, my credit card information was stolen by your staff and someone charged $404.99 to World Remit to my account. I only used my credit card at your facility so there is nowhere else this could have happened.

It was the inauguration weekend of the resort, so there where some problem with the electronic keys. But, the staff attended us very well, and gave us a late check out for the inconvenience :).
